Got married again (9-9-04)...to a beautiful woman named Joyce. I found my soul-mate, best friend and someone who truly loves me. As a matter of fact, we're having a baby together in May...we've been married almost 2 years now. Here's a picture of me and my beautiful wife, she looks almost exactly like Jacklyn Smith of the old Charley's Angels.

150 YEAR HISTORY OF AFFTON
The Affton Alumni Association has released their limited edition book about the 150-year history of Affton. I couldn't resist ordering a copy even though it cost $30.00 or $35.00 (I can't remember). In case you did not order one, here are a couple of pictures that I copied from the book. I think you will recognize some of these young faces. The yearbook-style book features many old photos of teachers and students going back to the 1800s. To order a copy of this 144-page hard-cover book, Making Our Mark, contact Mary Ann Schiller at 314-638-8770.

Congratulations to Dan Brauchle and Laura Max, who were married in October. Dan is a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office (he's Martha Buckley's mailman!) and Laura is a courier for Fedex.

This is the second marriage for both. Their new blended family will include Laura's daughter (23) and son (17) and Dan's two sons, (21 and 17). The couple honeymooned in Hawaii for ten days, visiting Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. They plan to continue living in Affton until they build a new house in a few years.

They became engaged at the stroke of midnight at the Millennium and have been planning the perfect wedding ever since. (It takes a long time to plan the perfect wedding.) We all wish them many years of happiness together!

Sue Sutherland Tucker became a grandmother in August. After raising four boys, Sue's son, Tim, fathered a beautiful little girl named Alexis Nicole. Congratulations to the Tuckers! We're not old enough to be grandparents, are we? The next thing you know, we'll start getting grey hair!
