Condensed Life
History: Graduated from SLU; Biology/Russian major; taught high school
biology & chemistry 3 years; served as lead science coordinator for 3
years training teachers how to teach elementary science; then, began raising
family; 2 kids (born '84 & '88); married Affton alum Tom Evola in 1977;
Tom has worked at Washington University for over 17 years; Annette spent
most of her time passionate about homeschooling the kids, while being
privileged to be a stay-at-home-mom; worked part-time over those child
rearing years as private tutor; also received RN and worked 3 years part-time
as registered nurse; now working part-time as nurse/massage therapist;
now that the homeschooling responsibilities are about over, will be considering
next life options; lived in St. Louis Hills for 9 years; now living in
Kirkwood/Des Peres area for past 12+ years; lived outside St. Louis only
2 years, in Columbus, Ohio, while Tom did grad school. Still enjoy studying
and reading about anything, and love nature and gardening!! Lastly, worth
mentioning that family opposed the preemptive strike against Iraq. Oh,
oh, never mention politics!!! :-)
